Explorers Preparatory
for JK/SK students
In this unique and innovative program, your child will attend a weekly scheduled group class that supports all learning styles and couples individual attention with peer interaction.
Your child’s confidence will soar as they:
- Make new friends
- Explore new instruments like: drums & percussion, piano & keyboards, as well as simple, fun, wind instruments like the kazoo!
- Discover creativity through movement & acting games
- Prepare, practice and perform live together as a group


Explorers
for grade 1 and 2 students
In this exciting stage of the Performing Artist Program your child will foster their holistic musical foundation as they attend a weekly scheduled group class designed to build skills through collaboration and creativity with their peers.
Your child will ignite their spark as they:
- Strengthen bonds with their peers and future bandmates
- Continue to explore: drums & percussion, piano & keyboards
- Discover new instruments like the recorder and ukulele
- Explore creativity through movement and acting games
- Prepare, practice and perform live together as a group
At this stage you may choose to enhance the experience by adding a private lesson. This upgraded option offers individual attention alongside the collaborative benefits of group learning, all at a discounted rate.


Dreamers
for grade 3 and 4 students
A Musical adventure awaits in this stage of the Performing Artist Program. Dreamers embark on a dynamic and creative musical journey together, whether building on prior experience or starting fresh. Each week you child will attend a weekly scheduled group class that supports collaborative music-making while building confidence and creativity.
Your young dreamers will:
- Develop performance skills in a supportive and engaging environment
- Explore a variety of music styles and band instruments
- Experiment with music technology
- Explore creativity through movement and acting games
- Prepare, practice and perform live together as a group
At this stage you can add a private lesson for individualized learning on your child’s instrument of choice, enriching their group experience and deepening their skills.


Players
for grade 5 and 6 students
In stage 3 of our Performing Artist Program, your young Players take their musical abilities to the next level. Each week they will attend a regularly scheduled class as a band and build the skills required to progress to Stage 4: Creators
Your child moves on up in their musical journey as they:
- Explore playing together as a band
- Discover multiple styles of music
- Develop performance skills
- Dive into music technology
- Create their own band name and logo
- Explore song writing
- Prepare, practice and perform together as a band
Each Player will also attend a regularly scheduled private lesson in their instrument of study or voice to further develop their personal musical abilities.

Creators
for grade 7 and 8 students
Creators is where students take the next step in their Performing Artist journey – moving from learning music to shaping it. In this level, students attend a weekly scheduled group class to build on their band experience with greater independence.
Create, arrange, and develop your musical voice:
- Dive into improvisation, and creative decision-making within a collaborative band environment
- Create musical arrangements
- Create their own band name and logo
- Prepare, practice and perform together as a band
- Write and perform original songs
This level is ideal for students ready to take ownership of their music and explore new ways of creating, preparing them for the more advanced creative and leadership opportunities in the upper levels of the program. Each Creator will also attend a regularly scheduled private lesson in their instrument of study or voice to further develop their personal musical abilities.
