In this stage, your child will connect with peers, discover new instruments, explore creativity through movement and acting, and build a holistic musical foundation tailored to their developmental stage.
In this unique and innovative program, your child will attend a regularly scheduled group class that supports all learning styles and couples individual attention with peer interaction.

Your family can now tailor the Explorers Preparatory experience:
- Option 1: Ensemble Group Experience – Join the group class to build confidence, creativity, and collaboration with peers.
- Option 2: Ensemble + Lesson Upgrade – Take the next step by adding private piano lessons for individualized learning alongside the group experience.
Included in Explorers Preparatory:
- Ensemble Group Experience (Option 1): 1 regularly scheduled 40-minute group class that builds on lesson concepts, explores movement & acting, and introduces students to singing and drums/percussion.
- Ensemble + Lesson Upgrade (Option 2): Everything in the Ensemble Experience plus 1 regularly scheduled private piano lesson. Piano books are included with this option to support your child’s progress.
Performance Opportunities:
Up to 7 performance opportunities throughout the school year are included for all Explorers Preparatory students, regardless of the option chosen.

- Option 1: Ensemble Group Experience – Join the group class to build skills through collaboration and creativity with peers.
- Option 2: Ensemble + Lesson Upgrade – Enhance the ensemble experience by adding a private piano lesson. This upgraded option offers individual attention alongside the collaborative benefits of group learning, all at a discounted rate.

- Ensemble Group Experience (Option 1): 1 regularly scheduled 40-minute group class that builds on lesson concepts, explores movement & acting, and introduces students to singing, drums/percussion, ukulele, and recorder.
